Very excited to preview new artists renders showing the latest building design for the new Toorak Park pavilion.
Work has commenced on site and the latest indication is that the pavilion will be completed late August for a September handover, in time for the start of the 2024/25 cricket season.
The pavilion will incorporate a 200 seat dining room, commercial kitchen, and two bar areas. For players and officials there will be four very large changing rooms, elite level lockers, a large and modern umpires room, and a multi-purpose room that include a gymnasium and players meeting space.
Other facilities include coaches boxes, medical rooms, scorers room with height adjustable desks, a first aid room and a ground-level canteen facing the ground.
Wi-Fi will be available throughout the building for live streaming of games, plus full CCTV security. Storage areas will be provided away from the pavilion and 12 car parks behind an electric gate with access off Orrong Road.
Stage 1 of the park redevelopment is now complete. This comprised the installation of 750 lux lights and total redevelopment of the oval including the inclusion of a white picket fence around the playing oval.
