We are delighted to announce the appointment of Justin Graham as Head Coach of the Prahran Cricket Club for the 2025/26 season.
Justin has been an integral part of the PCC family over the past seven years as a former head coach, assistant coach and player. He has played a vital role in rebuilding our club and driving the ongoing development of our players. Through his contribution to our recent club championship and premiership successes he has proven himself a passionate and dedicated “True Blue”.
Justin will be supported by a strong coaching team including Carl Sandri, Tim White, and Sam Coates. Nick Morrey will continue as the Head of our Male Junior Pathway Program and Matt Wilcox will coach the U16 Dowling Shield team and provide additional support as assistant bowling coach.
We are also pleased to announce the formation of a new Coaching Panel that will focus on structure, planning and communication, helping to ensure continued growth and sustained on-field performance. The panel will work closely with the coaching group to support the evolution of our playing group and club culture.
Justin’s appointment arises from the departure of our current head coach, Julien Wiener, who leaves us to take up an exciting new coaching opportunity. We fully support Julien in this next step and are confident he will bring tremendous value to his new role, details of which will be announced soon.
Julien has been a cornerstone of the Prahran Cricket Club over the past seven years, helping us become one of the most competitive and successful clubs in the competition. Four Premier Cricket premierships and a Club Championship are a testament to his leadership and dedication.
Julien has also brought immense value through the relationships he has built and the legacy he leaves behind. As a life member, club legend and coach, Julien’s passion for the club runs deep and, although we will miss him on a daily basis, we know he will always be part of the “True Blue” fabric and a guiding presence for our players.
We thank Julien for everything he’s done for the club and wish him all the best in his next exciting chapter.
